SharePoint 2010 User Profile Service and User Profile Synchronization
I thought I’d put together a Mind map of UPS resources that helped me for future reference.
Last week I did battle with the User Profile synchronization Service and won (eventually)!
I did run into a few issues whilst completing the work,the main issue being that the User Profile synchronization Service would not start.

I cannot stress how helpful the web site of Spencer Harbar is: www.harbar.net. There is a lot of information out of the web, not all of it reliable (people suggesting starting services manually) and quite a lot of it a rehash of Spencer’s articles.
I thought I’d share this Mind map for others to have as a useful reference going forward; for me this is a good starting point for reference material that I will add content to as I come across it.
