Colligo Briefcase Pro V2 Review

Colligo have recently released an update to their Colligo Briefcase product. For the Lite version, the updates have mainly been bug fixes.

For the Briefcase Pro version though, the major new feature of this update is the ability to edit content and write back to a SharePoint site.

V2 is a free upgrade if you already bought the application or costs AU $15.99/ US $14.99.

I’ve reviewed version V2.0.34 which is in the iTunes App Store now and is a 7.8MB download.

I’ve already completed a comprehensive review of Colligo Briefcase Pro before so this review is going to focus purely on the new aspects of the product as bulleted with the description in the App Store:

2-way sync isn’t given its own heading here as it is covered within the other points. The Sync Progress area has been updated to show both the progress of file and metadata sync:

Upload files to SharePoint using “Open In” from other applications

Using the Drop Box application as an example, browsing some content then tapping to Open In, Colligo Briefcase Pro is available as an App to select:

Once you tap to open in Colligo Briefcase Pro, you will be prompted to choose the destination within the SharePoint site:

Tap Upload and the content will be transferred to SharePoint:
